Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company offers a paid Management & Sales Internship, a 10-12 week summer program in our retail stores. You will gain hands-on experience in management, sales, and store operations while shadowing a Sales Representative and collaborating with the management team.

Interns work on a team-based project addressing a real business challenge and are encouraged to apply to the Management & Sales Training Program after successful completion.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional in-store and phone customer service.
• Maintain product displays and assist customers by recommending items.
• Develop strong knowledge of store merchandise to answer inquiries.
• Restock shelves and support inventory management and visual merchandising.
• Assist with point-of-sale transactions and store maintenance.
• Help unload deliveries and organize stockrooms for efficient flow.
• Participate in training sessions and follow store policies including safety and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with interns on a team-based project addressing a real business issue.
• Support teammates in resolving customer concerns and completing shared tasks.
