Job summary

Butterball, LLC, America’s favorite turkey brand, invites a 2027 Summer Maintenance Engineering Intern to join the Mount Olive plant for a 10–12 week program. You will dive into daily plant operations, tackle maintenance challenges, and contribute to process improvements.

You’ll master the ins and outs of food production equipment, collaborate with teams to optimize processes, and uphold safety and quality standards while developing leadership by communicating with all levels.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in Agri-Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Meat Science, Ag Leadership or related field with an expected graduation date December 2027 through June 2028.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
• Demonstrated participation in extracurricular activity.
• Demonstrated involvement on-campus.
• Previous work experience of any kind preferred.
