Qualifications

We are currently hiring Summer Lifeguards! This role offers a great summer opportunity for teens, students, teachers, retirees, or anyone with free time during the summer. The pay ranges from $15.13 to $16 per hour, with overtime and bonus opportunities available.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patrons at the aquatic facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.
• Enforce all pool rules fairly and consistently.
• Maintain proper pool water chemicals, record keeping, and a clean, enjoyable environment.
• Report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 15 years old by the start of employment or lifeguard training course.
• Availability to work Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day weekends, and all weekends during summer.
• Professional conduct, attentiveness, and focus.
• Current lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications or willingness to obtain them before the season starts. Certification courses are available at this link.

Additional Opportunities

Motivated Lifeguards with strong customer service and leadership skills may be considered for Pool Manager positions, which offer more responsibility and higher pay.

Season Details

Start date: Saturday, May 24, 2025. End date: Monday, September 1, 2025.

Compensation

Pay rate: $15.13 - $16 per hour, with overtime and potential bonuses, including a chance to earn a $250 bonus.
