Job summary

C Spire offers an End User Support Intern position at our Ridgeland, MS corporate office for Summer 2026. You will serve as front-line support for internal systems, providing on-site and remote troubleshooting for hardware, software, networks, and applications across the company.

You will gain hands-on experience in IT operations, assist with PC requisitions and inventory, and collaborate with IT staff, internal customers, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student (in good standing).
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Skills or strong interest in troubleshooting hardware, software, networks, and front-line technical issues.
• Successful completion of at least 12 credit hours in computer technology or math-related coursework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with the company environment and troubleshoot and resolve requests concerning hardware and software utilizing remote management tools with minimal supervision.
• Interface and coordinate with IT personnel, internal customers, and vendors to facilitate troubleshooting.
• Assist with PC requisitions, equipment inventory, and equipment repair processes.
• Provide timely solutions to Help Desk requests and escalation as necessary.
• Assist with additional assignments as requested by management.
