Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in CS, DS, IS, Econ, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
• Junior, senior, or graduate standing by internship start.
• Full-time, in-person at Capital Farm Credit office.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily loan input, analysis, and credit processes in an agricultural lending office.
• Collaborate with loan officers, analysts, appraisers, and administrators to learn decision-making.
• Tour agricultural operations, visit offices, and shadow professionals to understand customers and industries.
• Develop working knowledge of the systems and technology used in agricultural lending and credit operations.
• Build relationships with employees and leadership through orientation and networking activities.
• Complete a summer project and present to executive leadership at closing session.
• Develop analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills through projects and daily activities.
