Job summary

Capital Farm Credit invites motivated students to a summer internship in Waco, TX, offering hands-on experience in agricultural finance and exposure to professionals serving farmers and rural communities. You will learn loan input, analysis, and credit processes while shadowing loan officers and analysts.

Interns gain industry-specific skills, build professional connections, and complete a summer project to present to the executive leadership team at the closing session.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Agricultural Business, or related field.
• GPA 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Junior, senior, or graduate student standing at internship start.
• Ability to work full-time, in person, at Capital Farm Credit office.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in daily operations of an agricultural lending office.
• Assist with loan input, analysis, and credit processes.
• Learn from loan officers, credit analysts, appraisers, and loan administrators.
• Tour agricultural operations and visit other offices to understand customers and industries served.
• Develop working knowledge of lending systems and technology.
• Build relationships through orientation, development activities, and networking.
• Complete a summer project and present to executive leadership at closing session.
