Job summary

Capital Farm Credit is offering an Agricultural Lending Intern position in Katy, TX for Summer 2027. The program provides hands-on experience in agricultural finance, working with loan officers, analysts, and appraisers to support lending decisions and credit operations.

You will participate in a summer project, develop communication and analytical skills, and attend key program events, including orientation and closing sessions with executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in a relevant field supporting agricultural finance.
• GPA 2.5 on a 4.0 scale minimum.
• Junior, senior, or graduate student status by internship start.
• Ability to work full-time in-person at the Capital Farm Credit office.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in loan input, analysis, and credit processes.
• Work with loan officers, credit analysts, appraisers, and loan administrators.
• Tour agricultural operations and shadow professionals to understand customers and industries.
• Develop knowledge of lending systems and credit operations.
• Attend orientation, mid-summer, and closing sessions; complete a summer project.
