Job summary

Highmark Health is offering a Summer 2027 Undergraduate IT Audit Internship to gain hands-on experience in IT audit, cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, and governance across Highmark Health and its subsidiaries.

You will work with IT Audit, Information Security, Privacy, and Risk Management professionals to evaluate controls protecting assets and critical systems, while learning about regulatory requirements and internal policies in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Full or part-time enrollment in an accredited college or university baccalaureate program.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day audit activities and IT assurance engagements.
• Assist in assessing technology and security risks and documenting results.
• Contribute to research and analysis related to controls and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare recommendations and proposals for action from audit findings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, security, privacy, and risk management.
