Job summary

National Life Group in Addison, TX is seeking an IT Application Development Intern for Summer 2027. You will collaborate with cross-functional teammates to document digital customer experiences and help develop metrics, reporting, and recommendations that guide change initiatives.

You will build and support web applications and APIs using Angular, Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms; participate in Agile/Scrum; and use GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, and JFrog for code management and deployments.

Qualifications

• In-progress degree in a technical field such as CS/IT/Engineering.
• Interest in learning new technologies and frameworks.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Basic knowledge of web apps, APIs, and programming concepts.
• Exposure to Angular/Java/GitHub/DevOps or cloud platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and analyze digital customer experiences.
• Develop metrics, reporting, visualization, and recommendations for strategy.
• Support web applications, APIs, and internal/external solutions.
• Build and enhance apps using Angular, Java, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.
