Job summary

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) invites you to join its 10-week summer internship in Atlanta, May 24 – July 30, 2027. You’ll work with the Independent Store Owner (ISO) Sales Team, contributing to projects that support key business priorities and presenting outcomes to senior leaders.

Interns gain hands-on experience, robust networking, and professional development through leadership interactions, training workshops, and city-wide intern events, all within a collaborative cohort.

Qualifications

• Currently a rising junior or senior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Analytical, research and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Understand the workflow of the NAPA operation at the sales management level.
• Apply leadership skills to improve operational effectiveness with leadership, sales teams, and supporting operations.
• Identify and explain the business needs of Customer, DC and Sales groups.
• Gain exposure to Sales Effectiveness, Product/Category, Field Sales teams and their contributions.
