Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC in Houston offers a 10-week Summer Internship Program pairing students with an investment team to gain real, high-impact experience and a structured view of how a global multi-strategy hedge fund operates.

You will work with portfolio managers, analysts, and experienced professionals, present your work to senior leaders, and engage in trading simulations to deepen market knowledge and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic.
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Work on an investment team alongside a Portfolio Manager to help identify, evaluate, and deploy data-driven insights.
• Contribute to strategic projects beyond daily team responsibilities.
• Participate in a trading simulation with the intern class to build market knowledge.
• Present your work and ideas to senior leaders during the program.
