Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC offers a 10-week Summer Internship Program within a technology team. Interns will tackle real, high-impact work across data ingestion, modelling, portfolio and risk management, and live execution.

You’ll collaborate on cross-functional projects and present findings to senior leaders. Ideal candidates are pursuing STEM degrees and proficient in Python, with knowledge of C++/Java and ML.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, business, or another STEM field.
• Proficiency in Python, or knowledge of other languages like C++ or Java.
• Proficiency with machine learning and AI applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Paired to a technology team and exposed to data ingestion, high-performance processing and modelling.
• Contribute to strategic projects beyond day-to-day tasks.
• Compete in a trading simulation with interns to build markets knowledge.
• Present work and ideas to leaders during the program.
