Job summary

Verition Fund Management LLC ("Verition") offers a 10-week Summer Internship Program pairing you with a platform team across Data, Accounting & Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology, Treasury, Human Resources, Marketing, and Business Development.

You’ll contribute to impactful project work, automate processes and workflows, build real-time dashboards and tools, and drive operational efficiency across the firm.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in finance, economics, applied mathematics, statistics, business, computer science, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, strong work ethic, and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to be collaborative and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Demonstrated interest in hedge funds/financial services.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI applications.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to hands-on project work across platform teams (Data, Finance, Operations, Risk, Tech, HR, Marketing, Business Development).
• Automate processes and workflows, build real-time dashboards and tools, drive operational efficiency.
• Leverage AI tools to contribute meaningful work from day one.
• Participate in a trading simulation with peers to build market knowledge.
• Present work and ideas to senior leaders during the program.
