Job summary

Standard Meat invites students to join its Summer Internship Program with hands-on experience in our processing facilities located in Dallas, Fort Worth, Saginaw, and Ponder. Interns can focus in Research and Development, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Production and Operations, Engineering, Information Technology, or Supply Chain.

Interns work daily to understand process flow and production capabilities, interact with upper management, outside vendors, and customers, and pursue meaningful

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Animal, Meat or Food Science or related program.
• Previous meat handling or processing experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated achievement, motivation, and ability to be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Work daily in processing facilities to understand process flow and production capabilities.
• Contribute to meaningful projects essential to the company's short- and long-term success.
• Interact with upper management, outside vendors, and customers.
