Job summary

An R&D intern will gain experience in product development by working alongside food scientists in the development of new products and processes for beef, pork, and chicken. Interns will be exposed to the manufacturing process used across Tyson's family of brands including Hillshire Farms, Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Ball Park, State Fair, amongst many others.

Projects will be assigned to the intern at the beginning of the summer that can provide an immediate impact through cost-saving, quality

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's (incoming junior or senior) or master's degree program in good standing.
• Degree in food or meat science related fields preferred, but other related majors will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience in product development by working with food scientists on new products and processes for beef, pork and chicken.
• Be exposed to Tyson's manufacturing processes across brands like Hillshire Farms, Tyson, Jimmy Dean, Ball Park and State Fair.
