Job summary

empirical Foods offers an internship program designed to provide a best-in-class experience in a privately held meat science-focused company. Interns work on projects in meat science, animal science, and microbiology during a 10–12 week summer period, with the chance to engage with internal teams and upper management for development.

Housing is provided when needed, and top performers may be considered for full-time positions. Department: Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in related discipline.
• Experience in meat, food or animal science preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on projects across meat science, animal science and microbiology.
• Contribute to ongoing research initiatives and reporting.
• Perform all duties as assigned and communicate clearly with team.
