Job summary

Airbus Americas Customer Services, Inc. is seeking a Summer Intern – Business Development in Herndon, VA to help map strategic exploration and design for new initiatives within the Customer Services division.

The role emphasizes a mix of business insight and technical curiosity, working onsite in the Washington, D.C. area with teams across engineering, operations, and sales to shape market strategy and internal transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Spoken and written English proficiency required.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Hybrid thinker with business acumen and technical curiosity.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and defining the What and Why before the How.

Responsibilities

• Define Phase Zero problems by architecting strategy for new services or internal systems.
• Conduct market scouting and external exploration to benchmark trends and build go-to-market hypotheses.
• Design the strategy-to-execution workflows, resolve friction points, and enable growth processes.
• Develop value propositions, pricing models, and prototypes to validate commercial viability.
