ATI in Brackenridge, PA is seeking a Process Controls and Automation Intern for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and industrial networks in an active manufacturing environment.

You will work with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to improve equipment reliability, process performance, safety, and efficiency while supporting system upgrades and data analysis.

Qualificações

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Coursework or experience in PLC programming or automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist design, development, testing, and implementation of automation systems.
• Support programming, troubleshooting, and modification of PLC-based control systems.
• Develop and modify HMI screens and process displays.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance, and operations to improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in equipment commissioning and system testing.
• Assist with data collection to identify improvement opportunities.
• Follow safety procedures in an industrial environment.
