Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technology field.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in school clubs, teams, or projects.
• At least one class in basic circuit theory or design; mid-level proficiency preferred.
• Familiarity with Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD tool is a plus.
• Strong listening, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Desire to learn and contribute to Allegion's hardware development.

Responsibilities

• Support embedded hardware development for access control and security products.
• Assist in requirements scoping, architecture, schematic capture, PCB layout, testing, and integration.
• Learn RF design considerations and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with a small team and attend regular project meetings.
• Develop foundational knowledge for growth within Allegion.
