Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern to support thermal-hydraulic, fluid systems, process engineering and plant systems analysis activities for nuclear power generation during the summer of 2027. The position is paid, full-time, hybrid or onsite.

Reporting to the department manager, you will participate in engineering reviews, prepare reports, assist with design calculations, and collaborate with system engineers and project teams

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.
• Interest in energy systems and process engineering.
• Familiarity with engineering fundamentals and calculations.

About the role:

As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will support thermal-hydraulic, fluid systems, process engineering, and plant systems analysis activities associated with nuclear power generation.

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Cranberry, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
