Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company offers a paid Chemical Engineering Intern position for the summer of 2027 in Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC. The role supports thermal-hydraulic, fluid systems, process engineering and plant systems analysis related to nuclear power generation.

You will report to the department manager in a hybrid or onsite setting from May to August 2027, gaining hands-on experience while contributing to engineering reports and project work.

• Completed Sophomore year of college.

• Familiarity with engineering fundamentals and calculations.

About the role:

As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will support thermal-hydraulic, fluid systems, process engineering, and plant systems analysis activities associated with nuclear power generation.

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Rock Hill, SC or Columbia, SC facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
