Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the development, analysis, testing, and implementation of systems for nuclear power projects. You will work with experienced engineers and contribute to real-world engineering solutions.

The position is paid, full-time, hybrid or onsite during the summer (May–August 2027) and located at Cranberry Township, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton facilities in PA. Hourly rate is estimated at $25.40–$29.00.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Completed Sophomore year of college.

• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, reports, and calculations
• Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
• Support resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues
• Conduct engineering evaluations and research activities

About the role:

You will report to the department manager and be located at our Cranberry, Warrendale, Blairsville, or New Stanton, PA facility. This is a paid full-time hybrid or onsite position for the summer, May - August 2027.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.40 to $29.00 per hour.
