Job summary

Hussmann offers a 2027 Summer Internship program where you’ll rotate through HR functions, participate in the Ideation & Innovation Challenge, and network with senior leaders. You’ll work full-time during the summer and transition to part-time during the school year, continuing through May 2028.

The program provides hands-on experiences in Workday, onboarding, performance management, and recruitment support.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in school pursuing a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to relocate if not local.

Responsibilities

Assist with the Technician Recognition Program, Tech Connect communications platform, union processes and grievances.
Support TechX recruitment, Performance Parts employees, and the Branch Human Resources Generalists.
Aid in the development of Hussmann’s job architecture and compensation structure.
Assist with Workday systems, STD/FMLA, and Wellness Warrior Benefits Program.
Gain exposure to Workday, immigration processes, department technical career ladders, and onboarding/termination processes.
Collaborate on Goal Setting, Performance Management, and Employee Development Month.
