Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist in basic engineering problem solving, system design, and documentation under experienced engineers. The internship runs May 24, 2027 to August 6, 2027, offering hands-on exposure to design, drafting, and project coordination.

You'll gain experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu, while developing professional skills through training sessions and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field from ABET-accredited program.
• Preferred coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or similar CAD software.
• Drafting certification and prior internship experience are a plus.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic engineering calculations and design of engineering systems under supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Maintain and organize project documentation and reports.
• Support drafting and modeling using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
