Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with basic problem solving and building systems design under the guidance of senior engineers. You will gain hands-on exposure to engineering design, drafting, and project coordination.

The internship runs from 5/24/27 to 8/6/27, offering opportunities to work with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu, while developing professional skills and knowledge of industry standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• Coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or other CAD software is preferred.
• Drafting certification and previous internship experience are a plus.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards is beneficial.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic engineering problem solving and design of engineering systems under direct supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Assist in preparation and modification of reports, plans, and project designs.
• Coordinate activities and project information with other disciplines.
