Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with basic engineering problem solving, system design, and project documentation. Under supervision, you will gain hands-on exposure to design tasks, drafting, and coordination across disciplines.

The internship runs from 5/24/27 to 8/6/27 and emphasizes learning, professional development, and participation in company-sponsored activities within a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• PursuingBachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field from ABET-accredited university.
• Coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or other drafting software.
• Drafting certification preferred.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Experience using AutoCAD and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic engineering problem solving and system design under supervision.
• Prepare system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Maintain and expand proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam Revu; support drafting and modelling for projects.
• Provide general project and administrative support; attend training sessions and internship meetings.
