Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with basic engineering problem solving, building systems design, and the preparation of technical documents. Under supervision, you will gain hands-on exposure to design, drafting, coordination, and professional development activities.

Internship runs from 5/24/27 to 8/6/27 with opportunities to learn Autodesk tools and industry standards while contributing to real projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architectural/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited university.
• Coursework in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks or other CAD software.
• Drafting certification and prior internship experience preferred.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic engineering calculations and design under supervision.
• Produce system layouts, drawings, and schematics.
• Maintain project documentation and assist with reports.
• Support drafting and modeling of engineering projects.
• Attend technical and production-focused training sessions and internship meetings.
