Koch Fertilizer, LLC in Dodge City, Kansas, invites you to join our Engineering team as a 2027 Summer Electrical Engineer Intern for a 12-week program from late May to mid-August 2027.

You will troubleshoot plant electrical equipment, support maintenance, and help with data sheets, one-line diagrams, and cost estimates while gaining real-world experience in a dynamic industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Demonstrated involvement in engineering design teams, student organizations, or hands-on electrical projects.

Responsabilités

• Assist with troubleshooting plant electrical equipment: motors, drives, analyzers, control panels, power distribution, and transmitters.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs: inspect, test, and document electrical systems.
• Help evaluate and specify new electrical equipment, instrumentation, and system upgrades: prepare data sheets, one-line diagrams, and cost estimates.
• Contribute to risk assessments, root cause analyses, and troubleshooting efforts to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
