Job summary

The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough Education Support Professionals are seeking candidates for the Summer Extended School Year in Southborough, MA. Positions support students with IEPs and general education activities during five- or seven-week programs.

Work hours are typically 9am–2pm, 3 or 4 days per week, starting June 30, 2025. Pay ranges from $24.46 to $33.16 per hour, depending on assignment and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in daycare, school, or recreation settings preferred.
• Written language, technology, and interpersonal communication skills required to support team, school staff, parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher to include student in all aspects of the school day.
• Implement academic and social programming and strategies as developed by the team.
• Implement accommodations/modifications per IEP as outlined by the team.
• Implement behavior plans developed by the team.
• Assist in data collection.
• Promote social interactions throughout the day.
• Support students with adapted living skills as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality about all personal student information.
