Job summary

The Public Schools of Northborough and Southborough is seeking Speech-Language Pathologists for Summer ESY programs in Southborough, MA. The role focuses on direct and small group therapy to help students meet IEP goals and participate in daily activities with effective communication.

Required are a master’s degree in SLP, ASHA CCC or CF eligibility, MA licensure, and DESE licensure. Positions are full-time with 5/7 week programs and hourly rates up to $42.

Qualifications

• MASTER'S degree in speech-language pathology from an ASHA‑approved program.
• ASHA CCC or eligibility to work as a CF (Clinical Fellow).
• Massachusetts licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• DESE initial or professional licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one and small group speech-language therapy to students.
• Follow state and ASHA guidelines for supervision of SLPT Assistants.
• Maintain HIPAA/FERPA compliant records and progress notes.
• Document sessions for School-Based Medicaid claiming where applicable.
• Attend and supervise according to the ESY program schedule and requirements.
• Develop and adhere to daily/weekly schedules; travel between schools as needed.

Education

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (ASHA-approved program)

Licensed by MA Board of Registration for SLPs
