Job summary

Semex is seeking a Summer Sales and Solutions Intern to support the USA Sales Team and gain hands-on experience in the dairy industry. You will learn to work with customers, engage in solution-based selling, and manage accounts under supervision.

You will shadow experienced professionals, gain exposure to herd management software, and contribute to projects that impact farm profitability across regions in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal or dairy science, genetics, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on exposure to the Semex sales process in the U.S. market, including prospecting, customer engagement, solution-based selling, and account management.
• Develop understanding of the Semex Solutions portfolio and how they support dairy producer success.
• Shadow top-performing sales representatives and technical support team members.
• Build proficiency in herd management software platforms and interpret data-driven insights for producers.
