Job summary

Elanco is hiring a Summer 2027 US Farm Animal Sales Intern to join the Farm Animal Commercial team (Beef, Dairy, Swine, Poultry, Channel, or Retail) and deliver a high‑impact project within the US market.

You will define and execute a project in your territory, visit customers, meet with teams, and analyze insights to develop actionable recommendations.

Travel is required, housing support is available, internship runs May 17–August 6, 2027, with a competitive hourly salary of $20–$40.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently enrolled in undergrad studies in Animal Science, Agribusiness, Agriculture Education (or related studies).
• Experience: Experience with farm animal health or livestock or agriculture industry.
• Top Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively by phone, in person, and through presentations.

Responsibilities

• Define, execute, and deliver on an assigned project within your designated sales territory, working independently while partnering with the broader Farm Animal team
• Engage directly with customers through farm and clinic visits, customer meetings, and field activities to understand their needs and gain firsthand experience with the business
• Collaborate with sales representatives and cross-functional partners to gather information, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that support your territory and project goals
• Analyze customer, territory, and market insights to inform your project, track progress, and develop actionable recommendations
• Present project findings, results, and recommendations to relevant Farm Animal Leadership at the conclusion of the internship
