Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP in Andover, MA is seeking Staff Accountant Interns for Summer 2027 (June 2027–July 2027). The program exposes interns to audit, tax, and research work at a growing national CPA firm and offers real-life business experience with competitive pay and potential remote/hybrid options.

You will complete engagements under supervision, develop client relationships, perform data gathering and analysis, and contribute to reports and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's in accounting or finance; GPA 3.2+
• Preferred completion of Intermediate Accounting
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Able to work under supervision and accept feedback
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by your Supervisor or Manager
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements
• Conduct business-specific research - gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports and make recommendations to principals and partners
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-through
• Other duties and projects as assigned
