Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP offers Staff Accountant Internships for busy season 2027 (Jan 2027–Mar 2027) and may offer remote or hybrid options based on business needs. You will gain hands-on experience in audit, tax preparation, and research within a growing national CPA firm.

You will contribute to designated client engagements, develop client relationships, and learn from supervisors while earning compensation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with GPA 3.20 or higher.
• Preferred completion of at least one Intermediate Accounting course and CPA exam readiness.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Able to work under close supervision and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by your Supervisor or Manager
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements
• Conduct business-specific research - gather and analyze data, interpret results, compile reports
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-through
• Other duties and projects as assigned
