Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is hiring a Staff Accountant Intern for the busy season 2027 (January through March). This internship offers exposure to public accounting and encompasses completing tax and audit engagements for designated clients under supervision.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with a GPA of 3.20 or higher. Strong communication, teamwork skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Benefits include competitive hourly compensation of $27/hour and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with GPA of 3.20 or higher.
• Preferred completion of at least one Intermediate Accounting course.
• Capable of working under close supervision and accepting constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business-specific research and compile reports.
