Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP in Minnesota is seeking Staff Accountant Interns for the 2027 busy season (June 2027 through the end of July 2027). The program exposes future leaders of public accounting to partners, business operations, and how we empower clients' businesses through hands-on assignments in audit, tax preparation and research.

Interns complete tax and/or audit engagements, develop client relationships, and perform data analysis to support principals and partners.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance (degree OK).
• GPA 3.20 or higher.
• At least one Intermediate Accounting course; CPA exam candidate preferred.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and tax rules.

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements.
• Conduct business-specific research, analyze data, interpret results, and compile reports.
• Develop effective client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
