Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is recruiting Staff Accountant Interns for the busy season 2027 (January 2027 through March 2027). The program exposes interns to audits, tax preparation, and research within a growing national CPA firm, with hands-on assignments and real-life business experience.

Some roles may offer remote or hybrid arrangements; this is a paid internship designed to develop future leaders with client interaction and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; degree in hand is a plus
• GPA 3.20 or higher
• One Intermediate Accounting course completed; CPA exam readiness preferred
• Solid understanding of accounting and tax rules
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Accurate, detail-oriented, and well-organized; able to work under supervision

Responsibilities

• Complete tax and/or audit engagements for designated clients as directed by supervisor or manager
• Identify potential problem areas during engagements and communicate them
• Conduct business-specific research; gather data, analyze, interpret results, and report to principals
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and follow-through
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
