Job summary

Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) invites undergraduates and graduates to join a 10–12-week Project / Construction Management Internship—Summer 2027. You’ll gain exposure to CEI’s Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables markets, with opportunities on Ohio projects and other locations.

You’ll work with a project manager or project executive, supporting field, engineering, and design teams while you learn CEI’s processes and safety culture. No sponsorship; U.S. work authorization required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; pursuing Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 0 years of experience required; U.S. work authorization required; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Assist in estimate phase activities such as bid strategy and quotations.
• Support pre-construction tasks: budgeting, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.
• Assist construction phase: manage materials, submittals, change orders, and field logs.
• Help with closeout: compile documents and commissioning equipment.
• Collaborate with project teams including field, engineering, and design.
• Learn CEI processes and safety practices on real projects.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Current student studying Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
