Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. invites high‑potential students to join the Summer 2027 Commercial Construction Intern program in Seattle. The 10‑week internship includes mentorship, hands‑on learning, and professional networking to prepare you for a career in construction management.

You will work with seasoned project managers and superintendents, gaining exposure to document control, bid prep, and site coordination while building critical skills for future roles as a superintendent or project manager.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in construction, engineering, or business.
• Previous internship or volunteer experience is a plus.
• Capable of ~40 hours per week for 10 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery alongside project managers and superintendents.
• Assist with subcontractors, material tracking, and file management.
• Draft submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Assist in bid packages and subcontractor bid evaluation.
• Help progress reporting and client communication.
• Assist site review of drawings, site conditions, trades coordination, and safety/quality efforts.
• Engage in networking, professional development, and software training.
