Job summary

Martin-Harris Construction in Las Vegas, Reno, and Lakewood/Denver offers a hands-on internship program designed to expose students to the construction industry. Interns work with a project team in Operations and rotate through Safety, Estimating, Preconstruction, Business Development, Warranty, and more to gain real-world experience.

You will attend project meetings, assist with scheduling, review documents, and learn field operations while building professional skills in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Pursuing Construction Management or related degree.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with reviewing contract documents, plans, and shop drawings.
• Attend project meetings, including OAC meetings, and participate in jobsite visits.
• Support project scheduling, progress tracking, and punch list management.
• Observe and participate in field safety inspections and orientations.
• Shadow Superintendents to understand field operations and inspection processes.
• Learn about estimating and preconstruction through bid reviews and takeoffs.
