Job summary

Miami University in Oxford, OH is hiring a Conference & Event Services Sr. Student Manager (Master 2 Undergraduate) to support visiting campus guests during summer camps and conferences.

The role oversees student staff and coordinates conference operations under the Assistant Director for Conferences. The position requires prior conference and event services experience, enrollment at a qualifying university, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience in Conference and Event Services as a Student Master 1 Undergrad.
• Must be enrolled at Miami University or another university for the coming semester.
• Requires driver's license and completion of background checks.
• Availability May 15–August 9, 2026.
• Prior customer service or conference experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and reliability.
• Must be able to work 30–40 hours per week including varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student employees at the Student Master 1 Undergrad level.
• Support visiting campus guests and oversee conference operations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
