Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc (CDPHP) offers a 10-week paid Summer College Internship Program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. Interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored by managers, and participate in development workshops across diverse tracks including Administration, IT, Analytics, and more.

The program runs from June to August (up to 40 hours/week) with housing not provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with proof of continuous college enrollment in a full-time program
• Enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program and in good academic standing
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to interact with diverse audiences
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or with teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and standard desktop software

Responsibilities

• Support the LAMA Team with regulatory research and state filings
• Maintain corporate records and review policies and procedures
• Assist with project work and mentor guidance from managers
• Prepare and deliver presentations at internship completion
• Demonstrate confidentiality and uphold member privacy
• Attend development workshops and participate in team activities
