Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. offers a paid 10-week Summer College Internship Program from June to August. Interns work up to 40 hours per week, are mentored, and participate in development workshops across business, IT, analytics, and more.

Housing is not provided, and interns may join technical or non-technical tracks. Developed students gain real-world project experience, present at the end, and learn to transition from school to corporate life within the Lifetime Healthcare

Qualifications

• Majors include paralegal or social sciences; or similar program.
• Must be in good academic standing and able to multitask.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interface with staff at all levels.
• Proactive with strong organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employer group contract work.
• Work with a mentor on key projects.
• Complete assignments based on business needs and priorities.
• Deliver presentations at internship completion.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect member privacy.
• Attend development workshops and participate in team activities.
