Base pay range

$14.50/hr - $16.50/hr

Position: Summer Camp Unit Leader

Location: Ambler Area YMCA | Part Time, Seasonal, Hourly | $14.50-$16.50 per hour

We are looking for a Summer Camp Unit Leader to join our team at the Y! Our days are spent positively impacting the summer camp community by helping children reach their potential, setting age-appropriate goals, and changing lives in our Y community.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent, or enrolled in a minimum of 2 years of child development coursework approved by state licensing requirements
• Experience working with children and at least two seasons as a Y Camp Counselor or similar role
• Enthusiasm, humor, patience, and leadership skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage behavior effectively
• Ability to ensure safety and effective communication with parents/guardians
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion
