Job summary

Inspiration Hills Camp in Ohio seeks a high-energy Summer Program Manager to lead daily activities, coordinate events, and serve as master of ceremonies for large group gatherings. You will support counseling staff and ensure safety, fun, and faith-filled experiences for campers.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in youth programs, and a passion for Christian ministry. You will report to the Executive Director and help shape a memorable summer schedule for all

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative or leadership roles at a residential Christian camp.
• Experience in the development and delivery of programs and activities for children and youth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly developed attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Current certification in first aid and CPR, or willingness to become certified.
• Certification or willingness to become certified as a lifeguard preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a safe and fun program to campers.
• Ensuring Bible studies and other programmed activities are prepared and implemented.
• Delivering programmed activities that challenge growth in campers.
• Evaluating the success of the program and the development of the campers’ abilities and skills.
• Coordinating all summer camp activities with seasonal staff, volunteers and full time staff.
• Planning and implementing seasonal staff training.
• Providing guidelines for programs utilizing camp equipment.
• Ensuring campers, seasonal staff and volunteers follow safety procedures in all program areas.
• Assisting in the management and care of the physical facilities and equipment in all program areas.
