Job summary

Spruce Lake Ministries is seeking a Day Camp Assistant Manager for the Christian summer camp program. You will oversee the day camp, coordinate staff activities, and serve on the Summer Leadership Team. Responsibilities include leading meetings, shepherding staff, and supporting camper behavior management in a faith-centered setting.

The role emphasizes planning, coordinating with leadership, and ensuring smooth day-to-day camp operations, with emphasis on safety and community living on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old with camp leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to lead large groups and give clear instructions.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Spruce Lake Ministries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all program aspects of day camp; plan, prepare, run and evaluate activities.
• Lead team meetings and emcee large group activities.
• Spiritually shepherd staff and support camper behavior management.
• Set up and run audio/visual equipment for worship times.
• Distribute and collect weekly paperwork and coordinate with leadership.
• Respond to overnight needs in collaboration with other staff.
