Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize camper applications and required documents on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain an efficient, organized, and welcoming camp office.
  • Welcome guests and provide assistance to campers, families, staff, and volunteers.
  • Answer phones and respond to general questions or direct inquiries to the appropriate staff.
  • Track, organize, and order office and program supplies.
  • Support camp leadership with completion and organization of required camper paperwork.
  • Assist with staff care evaluations and other administrative processes.
  • Make confirmation phone calls to session participants and families.
  • Maintain accurate camper information and records.
  • Support leadership with administrative tasks, organized processes, and clear communication.
  • Assist with other camp office and program needs as they arise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role

As an Office Coordinator, you’ll help keep camp running smoothly by providing administrative and logistical support to campers, staff, volunteers, and camp leadership. You’ll help manage camper information and paperwork, coordinate supplies, communicate with participants and families, and keep the camp office organized and welcoming.

This is a hands-on role where your organization, attention to detail, and teamwork directly contribute to a positive camp experience.

What You’ll Do

Schedule
  • Full-time, seasonal position with a schedule based on organizational and program needs
  • Typical business hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with some flexibility based on role and program needs
  • May occasionally require evening or weekend hours to support orientations, camp programs, or organizational needs
  • Specific schedule and time commitments will be discussed during the hiring process

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

The Office Coordinator primarily works in a camp office environment but may move throughout the camp and interact with campers, staff, volunteers, and guests. Staff should be prepared to:

  • Work both indoors and outdoors as needed
  • Sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday
  • Use computers, phones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment
  • Lift and/or carry office supplies and materials as needed
  • Communicate effectively with campers, families, staff, volunteers, and guests
  • Work in an active camp environment with changing priorities

Specific physical demands and environmental conditions may vary based on program and assignment.

Compensation
  • New Office Coordinators are paid an hourly rate: $16.02 per hour
  • Returning staff may be eligible for higher rates and bonuses
