True Friends in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain clean cabins and facilities for campers, staff, and guests. You will prepare spaces and support the camp environment with attention to detail and teamwork.

About The Role

As a Housekeeper, you’ll help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for campers, staff, and guests. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of cabins, public buildings, and other assigned spaces while helping ensure our facilities are ready for the people who use them.

This is a hands‑on role that plays an important part in the overall camp experience. Your work helps create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment throughout camp.

• Camp Friendship | Annandale, MN
• Camp Eden Wood | Eden Prairie, MN
• Camp Courage | Maple Lake, MN

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities may include:

• Clean and maintain cabins, public buildings, and other assigned areas
• Complete general housekeeping duties to maintain clean, orderly, and welcoming spaces
• Help prepare spaces for campers, staff, and guests
• Communicate housekeeping needs, maintenance concerns, and updates to the Supervisor and/or Director of Facilities
• Identify areas requiring additional cleaning, supplies, or attention
• Follow established cleaning, safety, and facility proceduresWork collaboratively with housekeeping and facilities staff
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring To The Table

• Must be able to pass the required organizational background study
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable, but not required
• High school diploma preferred
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This is an active position that involves working both indoors and outdoors. Housekeepers should be prepared to:

• Walk, sit, stand, bend, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move throughout the workday
• Work in a variety of weather conditions
• Work in elevated, precarious, or high locations as needed
• Hear and communicate verbally with coworkers and supervisors
• Use hands and fingers to operate cleaning tools, equipment, and controls
• Lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Move throughout cabins, public buildings, and other camp facilities
• Work around campers, staff, and guests while completing housekeeping duties

Specific physical demands and environmental conditions may vary based on the assignment.

Compensation

• New Housekeepers are paid an hourly rate of $15.67/hour
• Returning staff may be eligible for a higher rate based on previous True Friends’ experience
