Cub Creek Science Camp in Rolla, Missouri, seeks Lead Instructors for the 2027 summer with 300+ animals and 100+ activities. You’ll maintain program areas, teach campers in your specialty, and lead early-bird and night-owl activities; on-site housing, meals, and laundry are provided.

Candidates should have at least one year of college, a passion for science, animals, and child development, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 1 year of college education; specialization in area is desirable.
• Strong interest in science, animals, and child development.
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work with campers.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction of assigned camp activities to campers.
• Coordinate with events coordinator to schedule activities.
• Manage camper behavior to ensure active participation.
• Ensure camper safety during activities.
• Keep program areas clean and supplies maintained.
• Lead camp activities, songs, and age-appropriate games.
