Join us this summer at Camp Easterseals Virginia (ESVA) as the Camp Kitchen Manager, where you’ll play an essential role in creating meal plans and preparing delicious, nutritious meals that meet the unique needs of our campers and staff!
As the Camp Kitchen Manager, you will plan, prepare, and serve meals that are both nutritious and tailored to meet the dietary needs of our campers, including accommodating food allergies and preparing pureed meals for those with swallowing difficulties. You will place food orders and create meal plans for up to 80 individuals. You will lead a team to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and all meals are served on time. You will maintain a clean, organized kitchen while adhering to health and safety standards.

To join our team, you should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with meal preparation and food service and be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.
Camp Easterseals Virginia operates as part of Easterseals PORT Health. For 65 years, it has provided quality recreational and therapeutic camp programming in New Castle, Virginia. Children and adults with disabilities can experience outdoor activities including horseback riding, canoeing, swimming, arts and crafts, ziplining, and campfires, thanks to dedicated team members like you.
